Day 01: Arrival in Delhi & fly to Jaipur
On arrival at Delhi, we will further to Jaipur. Jaipur also known as the ‘Pink City’ is the capital of the North Indian State of Rajasthan. In fact, Jaipur is a famous stop on the favourite tourist circuit of India, the Golden triangle tour. Surrounded by the Aravalis, the city is dotted with hill forts-listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India, splendid palaces, and many fascinating architecture. Evening at leisure or you can stroll around the city on your own. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 02: Jaipur sightseeing
Jaipur, popularly known as the “Pink City”, and “Paris of India”, s worldwide famous for unique Architecture, Vastu, Astrology, Forts, Monuments, Palaces, Art and Craft, Culture and last but not least for unique Food. Amber Fort and Palace- The magnificent Amer Fort is an extensive palace complex that has been built with pale yellow and pink sandstone, and with white marble. The fort is divided into four main sections that are graced with their own courtyards. Hawa Mahal– Hawa Mahal, also known as “Palace of Breeze”, was built in 1799 as an extension to the Royal City Palace of Jaipur. Jantar Mantar Observatory- The Jantar Mantar is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, Rajasthan. It features the world’s largest stone sundial, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. City Palace of Jaipur- Located in the heart of the Pink City Jaipur, the City Palace was where the Maharaja reigned from. This palace also includes the famous ‘Chandra Mahal’ and ‘Mubarak Mahal’, and other buildings which form a part of the palace complex. Jal Mahal- Jal Mahal is also known as Water Palace, is considered as one of the most beautiful architectural palace that was built with the Mughal and Rajpur craftmanship. Jal Mahal Palace provides a charming view of Man Sagar lake and the Nahargarh hills that borders it. Overnight in Jaipur
Day 03: Train ride to Agra
Fondly known as the ‘City of the Taj’, Agra is a must- visit city on any tour of India. Agra is a part of the Golden Tourism Triangle along with Delhi and Jaipur. Agra Fort- Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Agra Fort was built in the year 1573 under the reign of Akbar – one of the greatest Mughal Emperors. day, the fort is a major tourist spot and attracts many tourists from all over the world. Taj Mahal- The Taj Mahal is widely considered one of the most beautiful buildings ever created. Day 04: Agra- Delhi
Delhi is the capital city of India and is regarded as the heart of the nation. The city is popular for its enriched culture and heritage. The city hosts some famous historical monuments and is developing with the passing of time. There are many beautiful gardens in the city, away from pollution and busy city life that provide opportunities to walk leisurely in the midst of greenery. Delhi Zoo– It is situated near the Old Fort in New Delhi. The zoo is home to about 1350 animals comprising almost 130 species of animals and birds from around the world. Akshardham– It is a popular Hindu temple of Delhi. This marvelous temple was constructed in the year 2005 at Noida Mor region of New Delhi and is referred as Akshardham Temple of Swaminarayam Akshardham. Lotus Temple– The Lotus Temple (also known as Kamal Mandir) in Delhi is a matchless architectural marvel. Shaped in the form of a spectacular lotus with white petals, it makes for a break-taking sight. Overnight in Delhi
Day 05: Delhi- Kathmandu
On arrival at Kathmandu, you will be received and transferred to the hotel. Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital, is set in a valley surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. Later if time permits, we will visit. Kathmandu Durbar Square– It is a World Heritage Site. Kathmandu Durbar square, also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar, used to be the residence of the Nepali royal family and administrators. This ancient palace lies in the heart of the city. Stroll around Thamel town– It is a heaven for tourists visiting the city. Day 06: Kathmandu sightseeing- Nagarkot
1979 as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Called city of Temples, Kathmandu is a holy land for you to discover the abundant culture and grand natural beauty in Durbar Squares, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Temple, Pashupatinath Temple and etc. Pashupathinath Temple– One of the most sacred Hindu temples of Nepal – Pashupatinath Temple is located on both banks of Bagmati River on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. The massive Pashupatinath complex is one of the holiest pilgrimage spots in Nepal. Boudhanath Stupa– It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Boudha stupa is semicircle shaped and contains the relics and remaining of Buddha.The giant Boudhanath stupa is a gateway to heaven serving as a horizon between the earth and sky. Bhaktapur Durbar Square– Bhaktapur Durbar Square, renowned for its antique heritages from the 15th century displays the masterwork of metal, wood, and stone arts. It in fact exhibits the vividness of very old era. Nagarkot is a village in central Nepal, at the rim of the Kathmandu Valley. It’s known for its views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest to the northeast, which are especially striking at sunrise and sunset. Nagarkot View Tower– It is situated around 2100 metres above sea level and can be hiked by physically fit hikers in about one hour. You will have a 360 view of the himalayas one of the broadest views of himalayas along with kathmandu valley, lush greenery of national parks, rolling hills,etc. Evening at leisure. Day 07: Nagarkot- Chitwan
Chitwan also means Heart of the Jungle & this place is well known for National Park. Chitwan National Park is home of One Horn Rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger, Sloth Bear, Leopard along with different reptiles and different species of birds. It is one of the largest playgrounds of wild animals in Nepal. Tharu village visit- Chitwan is famous for the Tharu people, an ethnic group who mainly live in the Terai region of Nepal and are noted for their mud-walled houses. These are the people who call themselves “People of the Jungle”. They still live their traditional way of life, growing rice, corn, lentil and hunting wild deer, rabbit, fish, etc. Overnight in Chitwan
Day 08: Chitwan National Park – Jungle Safari Activities
Chitwan National Park was a hunting site for Royal Family of Nepal previously which is been converted to a preserved park from 1973 and listed in UNESCO heritage site in 1984. Elephant back safari- Elephant Back Safari is one of the most preferred jungle activities in Chitwan National Park. Elephant Safari is done normally two time is Chitwan National Park: either in Morning or Evening. It is on additional cost. Canoeing- It is a relaxing way to explore the Chitwan National Park. On this trip, you have a good chance of encountering crocodiles and birds found along the river. It is on additional cost. Day 09: Chitwan- Kathmandu
Retrace the drive to Kathmandu. Kathmandu is the capital of the kingdom, situated in a valley which is an open air museum of famous sites, ancient temples and shrines & golden pagodas. It is a city of inexhaustible historic artistic and cultural interest. Hanuman Dhoka Temple– Hanuman-dhoka Durbar is the Palace of Nepal. Among the existing historical relics in the country, Hanuman-dhoka Durbar has the largest scale and the richest art collection. Kumari House– Historical palace of the living goddess Kumari who is worshipped by Hindus & Buddhists. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 10: Kathmandu- Lhasa
Arrive at Gongga Airport and drive to Lhasa City. Lhasa, whose name means ‘the Land of Gods’ in Tibetan, is the capital of Tibet Autonomous Region. It is the center of Tibet’s political, economic, cultural and religious activities. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Lhasa.
Day 11: Lhasa Sightseeing
Lhasa is known as one of the highest cities in the world, standing at an altitude of 3490 metres (11,450 ft) and surrounded by the Himalayan Mountain ranges.Lying in the Tibetan Plateau, the city is also home to a major Tibetan people nationality but also Han and Hui peoples and several other ethnic groups. Potala Palace– It is regarded as landmark and the symbol of Tibet, the winter palace of the Dalai Lama since the 7th century. Jokhang Temple– It is a Tibetan Buddhist temple located in the center of old Lhasa city. It was originally built in 647 AD. The name “Jokhang” means “House of Buddha”. Jokhang Temple is the spiritual center of Tibet and is one of the holiest destinations for Buddhist pilgrims. Barkhor Market– Barkhor Street is actually a one-way circled praying road around Jokhang Temple. It is also the well-known kora pilgrimage route in Lhasa. The street is a good place for visitors who want to learn about Tibetan culture, economy, religion and arts. Overnight in Lhasa.
Day 12: Lhasa Sightseeing
Sera Monastery– It is one of three famous monasteries. The monastery was named Sera which means wild rose in the Tibetan language, because the hill behind it was covered with wild roses in bloom when it was built. Norbulingka – Situated in the west suburb of Lhasa, Norbulingka is a precious garden among Tibetans and called the “Summer Palace in Lhasa”. Evening at leisure and overnight in Lhasa
Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu
Fly back to Kathmandu and evening will be free for shopping. You can also hop around the different restaurants or go to try authentic Nepalese food. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 14: Kathmandu- Bhadrapur- Darjeeling
Fly to Bhadrapur and further drive to Darjeeling. Darjeeling, the land of thunderbolt, is located in West Bengal. This place is the epitome of natural beauty making it popularly known as the ‘Queen of the hills’. Evening you can explore the town on your own. Overnight in Darjeeling
Day 15: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Darjeeling is internationally renowned as a tourist destination for its spectacular view of Mt. kanchenjunga, along with its tea industry and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tiger Hill- Tiger hill has a panoramic view of Mount Everest and Mount Kanchenjunga together, it is also known for its dazzling views of sunrise. It’s the highest point in Darjeeling hills at an altitude of 8482 feet (or 2590 meters). Tiger Hill is located 11kms (6.8 miles) from Darjeeling town and above Ghum. For sunrise, you will need to start by 3:30 am in the morning so that you reach by 4.15 am. In winter you can start around 4:15 am. Ghoom monastery- Ghoom monastery is one of the oldest Tibetan monasteries of Buddhist. This shrine is a part of the Yellow Hat Sect which is also known as Gelpuka. Batasia loop- The Batasia Loop is a gigantic railway loop where the Toy Train makes a 360 degree turn. The loop like structure plays a perfect host to the famous toy train in Darjeeling. From the loop, one can get a panoramic view of Darjeeling town with Kanchenjunga and other snowcapped mountains in the back drop. Himalayan Mounteering Institute- Himalayan Mountaineering Institute was founded in Darjeeling to celebrate sherpa Tenzing Norgay’s trip to the summit of Mount Everest alongside Edmund Hillary. P.N Zoological Park- This is a heaven for animals of all kinds and a huge centre of attraction for animal lovers and nature enthusiasts. Overnight in Darjeeling
Day 16: Mirik Excursion
Mirik is a picturesque tourist spot nestled in the serene hills of Darjeeling district in West Bengal, India. The name Mirik comes from the Lepcha words Mir-Yok meaning “place burnt by fire”. Mirik has become a popular tourist destination for its climate, natural beauty and easy accessibility. Mirik Lake- Mirik lake is one of the most famous tourist spots in the state of West Bengal. On the way to Mirik, the scenery is breathtaking and it seems we are going amongst the white fluffy clouds. Sumendu Lake- Sumendu Lake is bounded by pine trees on one side and lush garden on the other side and is linked together by an arching bridge called as Indreni Pull (Rainbow Bridge). Boating and Fishing are the two main activities appealing to tourists visiting this lake. Enjoy boating or horse riding- Another popular activity here is horse riding & boating which is on additional payment. If you are interested, you can opt for these activities. Day 17: Darjeeling- Pelling
Pelling is a beautiful town located on the foothills of Mount Kangchenjunga in the state of Sikkim. This high altitude town overlooks the mesmerising views of the whole of Himalayan range and the mighty Kanchenjunga. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Pelling.
Day 18: Pelling Sightseeing

Pemayangtse Monastery- Pemayangtse Monastery is a Buddhist monastery. Also known as Pelling Monastery, it is one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. Pemayangtse Monastery was founded by Lama Lhatsun Chempo in 1705 CE. Khecheopalri Lake- “Khecheopalri is a sacred lake. . The name Khecheopalri literally translates to ‘heavenly abode of Padmasambhava’. It is considered a wish-fulfilling spot, this lake is visited by countless tourists from all corners of the world. Singshore Bridge- Singshore Bridge is the highest bridge in Sikkim and the second highest bridge in Asia. It is truly a man made marvel that offers the spectacular base view of immense greenery. Watch the sunset over Kanchenjunga- Enjoy the sunset over Kangchenjunga with close up view. Kangchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world. Overnight in Pelling.
Day 19: Pelling- Gangtok
Gangtok is a bustling town spread over several mountain ranges. It is notable for its neat and clean streets, and generally orderly traffic. This city is love for those who is close to nature and appreciates the natural beauty of higher peaks and Himalayan ranges.Siddheshwar Dham- It is situated at Solophok hill which is 5 km away from Namchi town. It is believed that a visit to the place is enough to wash away one’s sins. The 108 feet statue of Lord Shiva is encircled and supported by a girdle of twelve Jyotirlingams Chardam. Tashi view point- Tashi View Point was built by the King of Sikkim, Tashi Namgyal, who ruled Sikkim between 1914 and 1963. This is an ideal place for nature lovers as it offers great views of the imposing Himalayan Mountains, specifically Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Siniolchu. It is also a perfect place for the panoramic view of Gangtok. Cable ride if you are interested- This cable car ride is 2 kilometres in a complete two-way ride. The first station is at Deurali, the second one at Namnang and the topmost in Tashiling. You will have to stand during your ride and inspect the awesome bird’s eye view of Gangtok and if you are lucky then you can get the stunning view of Mount Kangchenjunga as well. Overnight in Gangtok
Day 20: Gangtok- Phuenthsoling
Depending on your flight/train/car arrival time, it will take about 6.5 hours to reach Phuentsholing. The drive will pass through various tea gardens finally emerging into foothills of Bhutan. After arriving in Phuentsholing, check into the hotel and relax. Phuentsholing- Phuentsholing is the border point for any goods and services entry/exit into Bhutan. Phuentsholing lies opposite the Indian town of Jaigon and cross-border trade has resulted in a thriving local economy. Zangto Pelri Lhakhang: It is a small temple located in the heart of the Phuntsholing town. The temple’s soothing premises also serve as park, a good place to relax for both local and tourist. Elderly citizens come to circumambulate around the temple. Overnight in Phuentsholing, altitude 300m
Day 21: Phuenthsoling- Thimphu
Complete the immigration formalities before starting the journey to Thimphu, the immigration office gets open at 9AM. The feeling of exhausted and crowded in Phuentsholing comes to the end after half an hour drive uphill, you will start feeling fresh and enjoy the scenic beauty of the nature. The journey will pass through some of the most beautiful broad leaves forest to temperate alpine zone, villages, towns, water fall, hills and mountains until we reach Thimphu, creating the history for you. Roadside Stops: Leg stretch break for having tea/coffee, using restroom and taking photographs at scenic places like waterfalls, landscapes, and villages. Chuzom- Meeting point of two rivers (Thimphu & Paro) this is tri junction of highway leading to Thimphu, Paro and Phuentsholing into three directions. Enjoy the lovely picture of beautiful portrait of our King and Queen placed at chuzom which is so welcoming to all who visits Bhutan. Overnight in Thimphu, altitude 2400m
Day 22: Thimphu Sightseeing
Thimphu- This bustling little city is the main centre of commerce, religion and government in the country. Thimphu is the most modern city with an abundance of restaurants, internet cafes, nightclubs and shopping centers. However it still retains its cultural identity and values amidst the signs of modernization, often referred as world only city without traffic lights. Buddha Dordenma- The Buddha Dordenma is located at a top of the hill in Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park and overlooks the southern entrance to Thimphu valley. The Buddha Dordenma is a gigantic 51.5-meter tall statue, making it one of the largest statues of Buddha in the world. Arts and Crafts Vocational School- Arts and Craft School is where student learn 13 different techniques to master in Bhutanese Arts. Some of the skills required eight years to graduate. You can see live carving, painting, sculpture etc. You are allowed to take the pictures/make video. Products made by students are on display at the showroom for sales as well. The school is closed in July and December to February, beside their exams and events. Folk Heritage Museum-This museum was established in 2001 and provides visitors with fascinating insights into the Bhutanese material culture and way of life, especially the life of Bhutanese in remote parts of Bhutan. Authentic Bhutanese Crafts Bazaar- Bhutan’s first ever craft bazaar located behind Hotel Taj Tashi showcases wide range of authentic Bhutan-made arts and craft products with reasonable price range. Handicraft Emporium- Realizing the importance of socio-economic growth, handicraft emporium was set up with the command of His Majesty 3rd King, this was the first step to showcase the authentic Bhutanese handicraft products in Bhutan. You can still find some of the fine products available here at reasonable cost. Witnessing Archery Match- Archery is the national game of Bhutan, it is amazing to see Bhutanese archers hitting target from a distance of 145 meters range. Bhutan has top archers on some categories on Olympic games. Weekend Market/Centenary Farmers Market– An interesting well organized permanent set of stalls built for vegetable vendors across the country. Its open from Wednesday to Monday and closed on Tuesdays. One can find wide range of local vegetables and fruits. Other side of the river is place for indigenous goods and handicrafts section, where locally produced goods, including religious objects, cloth, baskets and hats etc from various minority groups are sold here. These shops are open from Friday to Sunday only. Clock Tower Square- Situated in the heart of town, Clock Tower Square is a popular venue for open ground events such as cultural festivals, concerts, fund- raising events, live shows and trade fairs. The place is bounded by shops, cafes, souvenir shops and restaurants, making it one of the main attractions in the Thimphu town. Overnight in Thimphu
Day 23: Thimphu- Punakha
Start the most scenic drive to Punakha from Thimphu over dochula pass which takes about two hours. After the break at Dochula, the road descends into Wangdue and Punakha taking us to one of the warmest places of Bhutan. Dochula Pass- The pass is at a popular location as it offers a stunning 180 degree panoramic view of the Great Himalayan mountain ranges. The view is especially scenic and very clear on winter days with snowcapped mountains forming a majestic backdrop to the tranquility of the 108 chortens gracing the mountain pass. Lamperi Botanical Park- The park has many varieties of plants, herbs, birds and animals. This park is one of the must visit place for birds and nature lovers. You may enjoy the hot packed lunch here if you had planned picnic. Punakha Dzong- Built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo religious head of Bhutan. King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952. This is one of the finest and must see Dzongs of Bhutan. The Dzong stands in between meeting point of two rivers, Phochu and Mochu making the most photogenic Dzongs of Bhutan. Punakha Suspension Bridge- Punakha suspension bridge is considered one of the longest of its kind in Bhutan. The bridge connects the dzong with the villages Shengana, Samdingkha and Wangkha on the other bank of the Po Chhu river. In these small villages, locals sell their wares in tiny, traditional shops. Visitors can stop here for a quick and authentic view of true Bhutan. The suspension bridge is only about 15 minutes’ walk from Punakha Dzong. Overnight in Punakha, altitude 1350m
Day 24: Punakha- Paro
As we proceed to Paro, we will retrace the journey crossing over Dochula, up until Chuzom and further to Paro. The entire stretch of drive will refresh your mind and give you second chance to enjoy the great snowcapped mountain views of the Himalayas from Dochula. Riverside Visit- visit to riverside to enjoy the crystal clear river and group video/photo is must in Paro. HBT guides will take you to the best place to enjoy at beautiful river banks of Paro. Paro Airport Bird’s Eye View Point- The Paro international airport is among the top 10 most stunning and challenging airports in the world. The view point offers an exquisite view of the Paro valley. Rinpung Dzong- ‘Fortress on a Heap of Jewels’, is ranked one of the best Bhutanese architecture. The massive buttressed walls that tower over the town are visible throughout the valley, particularly when landing at Paro Airport. The Dzong also offers administrative seat of the district of Paro. The Dzong was built in 1644 under the order of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. National Museum of Paro- Perched above Paro Dzong it was watchtower built in 1649 to protect the undefended Paro Dzong located below, renovated in 1968 to house the National Museum. Today this museum houses the best collections of all time historical items making worth for a visit. Paro Town- Tiny Paro town actually can offer lot more, there are many authentic handicraft shops, readily available Bhutan made products, grocery and imported garment shops beside having many small restaurants around. Day 25: Paro Sightseeing
This picturesque region in the kingdom is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley. Paro has more of historical sites, high-end tourist resort and many souvenir shops for shopping including world famous Takstang. Taktsang/Tiger’s Nest Temple– is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious Buddhist site in the world. The name Taktsang translates to “The Tiger’s Nest”. The temple is one of the holiest sites in Bhutan which clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the valley. Although good trekkers can make it to the top in two hours, most of the guests take whole day to complete the hike. Outdoor Activities- Nicely made and well maintained activity place attached to whole sell Buddha statue store, offers wearing Bhutanese dress, playing archery and darts for guests visiting Bhutan.
