Museums and Monuments Fees of Bhutan – The fees structure give below is applicable for all tourists visiting Bhutan. The fees are in Ngultrum which is at par with Indian Rupees. The fees collected will support to keep the places safe, clean and help them to manage the waste properly.

Note: 50% exemption of fees for children of 6 years but below 18 years and no fee for children of 5 years and below remains status quo.

The above designated monuments and sacred sites will be open ONLY to the locals on the following suspicious days;

• 15^th of 1^st month (Chotrul Duchen),
• 10^th day of 3^rd month (Zhabdrung Kuchoe),
• 15^th day of 4^th month (Saga Dawa Duchen / Lord Buddha Parinirvana),
• 4^th day of 6^th month (Chokhor Duchen / First Sermon of Lord Buddha),
• 22^nd of 9^th month (Lha Bab Duchen / Descending day of Lord Buddha), and
• 10^th of 5^th month (Birth Anniversary of Guru Rinpoche)
